About
Hi, my name is Katerina. I just finished grade 10 at Esquimalt High School and I like really like math, theatre and the outdoors. I am doing the Rotary Youth exchange program and will be away for almost a full year, from August 2018 to June 2019. I live in Victoria, BC, and I am now in Finland. I am in a small town called Naantali, which has a population of about 17 thousand. It is close to a much larger town called Turku, which is one of the larger and oldest towns in Finland. Naantali is similar to Victoria in a few different ways. Although it is much smaller, Naantali is also very much a tourist town and is right on a harbour. It is located on the southwest coast of Finland and is the warmest, sunniest place in Finland. There are a lot of islands nearby, that are similar to the Gulf Islands here. I will try to update my blog and post some more pictures every few weeks!
